In the past, The Weinstein Company had issues with remote shooting because of getting the Dallies (video footage of the day’ s shooting) to the right people in a timely manner, causing production delays, which can become extremely costly. The Weinstein Company Production team commissioned KIT Digital to ingest, process, and deliver Dailies for its new project “I Don’t know How She Does It,” featuring Pierce Brosnan and Sarah Jessica Parker. Timelines are absolutely critical as the entire content cycle happens overnight so that feedback from the production team is received prior to the commencement of the following day’s shoot. With these requirements, KIT digital designed a production cycle that begins with the ingestion of the 35mm transfer and ends with cloud-based multi-screen video delivery to the entire Weinstein production team stationed around the world – all in one night’s sleep.
