Weather Channel

The Weather Channel partnered with KIT digital to build iWitness Weather – a platform for visitors to share their weather stories by submitting photos and videos of local weather conditions. The Weather Channel has heavily integrated iWitness Weather information with its on-air programs and plans to expand the online forum to enable weather fans to participate in message board discussions. Since the launch of the new platform, monthly unique visitors have increased 58 percent, and total approved photo and video submissions have increased 102 percent.
