P7 News, a 24-hour Hindi News & Entertainment Channel, needed to upgrade its technical and operational infrastructure in order to compete in one of the world’s most competitive broadcast markets. The new infrastructure required two live studios with production control rooms, a centralized equipment room, a fully automated newsroom solution, an online graphics system, as well as a separate master control room.  KIT digital designed the station to incorporate a complete digital workflow comprising newsroom automation systems, channel automation and control systems, news studios and program content creation studios, production and master control rooms, channel branding, ticker, archiving, and more. The broadcast workflow was created so that each component of the facility can be easily upgraded to HDTV.
