MTV has been partnering with KIT digital since 2007 to reach audiences across multiple platforms with engaging video experiences. Building on that partnership and the success of the previous year’s cooperation to deliver the Video Music Awards to mobile devices, MTV selected KIT digital again to expand its mobile initiatives to power the entire video experience for the MTV News iPhone App, including a dedicated section for live video coverage from the 2010 MTV Video Movie Awards (VMAs). With a KIT digital mobile solution, the MTV team was able to quickly and easily incorporate live and on-demand videos into its MTV News iPhone and Android apps. Video content included a wide range of celebrity clips and movie trailers, as well as the live stream of the VMAs, making it possible for viewers to catch all the action, even on-the-go.
