The National News Agency in Malaysia, Bernama TV’s mission is to report the news accurately and in a timely manner. In 2008, Bernama wanted to transition from delivering one 30-minute news segment a day to Malaysia’s first 24-hour news channel. Because of its existing infrastructure facilities, Bernama also needed to simultaneously update its broadcast system from analog to digital. Bernama turned to KIT digital to design, build, and seamlessly implement its new broadcast facility and workflow without going off air. Bernama is now Malaysia’s number one 24-hour news channel.
